Each session features a case presentation by a different analyst, focusing on a clinical moment that provides clinicians with an opportunity to think psychoanalytically about the material and deepen their understanding through shared insights. Whether you're seeking to refine your clinical skills or broaden your understanding of psychoanalytic work, Clinical Moments provides a rich forum for learning and professional growth.

June Theme: Opening New Windows: A Second Analysis

What happens when a patient returns to analysis later in life and what new possibilities emerge when they do? In this month's clinical seminar, Advanced Candidate Susmita Thukral, LMFT presents her work with an older patient, offering a close look at the analytic process across the lifecycle. Senior Analyst, Eli Miller, M.D. as the Discussant, explores how a second analysis can open unexpected transferences and create new pathways for growth which is a reminder that psychic development need not stop at any age.
