Matthew Robert Zetumer, M.D.

Dr. Zetumer is a graduate of the adult psychoanalytic program and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCSD. In addition to an active private practice where he specializes in treating adults with personality disorders, Dr. Zetumer teaches psychiatric residents at UCSD Department of Psychiatry. He also formerly held the position of Regional Psychiatrist for the National Football League’s Program for Substances of Abuse.

He prescribes medications when indicated in combination with intensive psychotherapy and psychoanalysis and has a particular interest in Transference Focused Psychotherapy.
