Kristin Whiteside, Ph.D.

Dr. Kristin Whiteside is a clinical psychologist who provides psychoanalytic treatment to adolescents and adults seeking to develop greater self-awareness and more effective adaptations to their internal and external experiences. Dr. Whiteside is a candidate in Adult Psychoanalysis at SDPC and is committed to the idea that psychoanalysis is not only a therapeutic technique but is a way of thinking that enriches one's engagement in relationships and communities.

Dr. Whiteside is a board member of the Hirschman Memorial Fund Counseling Program at The Preuss School UCSD, a college preparatory charter school for low-income students. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the International Psychoanalytical Studies Organization as the VP-elect for North America.
