This workshop will teach how psychoanalytic concepts can be applied to the assessment and treatment of couples. Emphasis will be placed on developmental, psychoanalytic ways of understanding mature adult love, with various practical, clinical examples.

Presenter Information

Lee Jaffe, Ph.D. is a Training & Supervising Analyst, President of the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center, and he is on the clinical faculty of the UCSD Department of Psychiatry. For the past 20 years he has been developing an approach to treating couples that is based on psychoanalytic principles.
