Now Accepting Applications: 2027 Training Cohort Are you a clinician who wants to understand your patients more deeply, work with greater confidence in the room, and grow your capacity for meaningful, lasting therapeutic change? The San Diego Psychoanalytic Center (SDPC) is now accepting applications for our 2027 cohort, beginning October 15th, 2027. One cohort, two pathways Our Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program and Psychoanalytic Training Program share the same first two years. Trainees in both programs study together, building a strong foundation in psychodynamic theory and clinical technique alongside a close group of colleagues. Why SDPC? For more than 50 years, SDPC has been a home for psychoanalytic thinking and training in San Diego. As an APsaA-affiliated institute, we offer small seminars, close mentorship, and a collegial community that continues well beyond graduation.
