Two Systems of Self-Regulation

This workshop will focus on self-regulation issues across the age spectrum: Children, Adolescents, and Adults. The Novicks will address two regulatory systems, focused on sado-masochism and competency, as they require two specific intervention techniques. Clinical material will be presented.

Presenter Information

Kerry Kelly Novick and Jack Novick, Ph.D., (Dr. Jack Novick is on the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute Faculty and Mrs. Kerry Kelly Novick is past President of the Association for Child Psychoanalysis) have been working with children and their families for over 45 years. Senior Psychoanalysts and Psychologists, they bring broad and deep knowledge of human development in accessible words and concepts important to the practices of pediatricians and mental health and other health professionals.
