I have been in private practice in San Diego for 30 years. I work with men and women individually in psychoanalysis and dynamic psychotherapy. I like to help each person understand and change the obstacles keeping them from satisfying relationships and career. My clinical experience includes dealing with those issues troubling to gay men and lesbians and individuals transitioning from diverse cultural backgrounds.

In addition to specialized training in psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy, I have a PhD in Psychology and practice with a License in Clinical social work (LCS10997). I am an instructor at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Institute.  I enjoy writing about psychoanalysis and have presented my work nationally and internationally.
