Dr. Kierce has spent more than 10 years advocating for, and working with, children, adolescents, and their families. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) via the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and maintains the Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential for school psychology in California. She has expertise in school-based psychological services (e.g., IEP and Section 504), as well as the evaluation of child and adolescent neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e., ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities, Autism, Intellectual Disabilities). She also earned a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and an advanced certification in adult psychoanalytic psychotherapy from San Diego Psychoanalytic Center. She has worked in psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults who have had a wide range of challenges that included severe, chronic, and clinically complex presentations. Her clinical interests include psychological and psychoeducational assessment, advocacy for children and adolescents within the school system, play therapy with children aged zero to five, childhood disruptive disorders, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship problems, and personality issues.
