Mark A. Teles, Ph.D. (he/ele) is a licensed clinical psychologist who received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, San Diego. Dr. Teles completed his American Psychological Association-Accredited doctoral internship at the Pace University Counseling Center in New York City and his postdoctoral fellowships at Counseling & Psychological Services (C&PS) at San Diego State University (SDSU) and Metro Psychological.

Dr. Teles is a graduate of the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center’s (SDPC) Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program and has thus since served SDPC as a mentor, presenter, consultant and event organizer. Dr. Teles is currently a full-time faculty member at C&PS at SDSU where he supervises, teaches and provides a variety of clinical services to SDSU students. Dr. Teles’ primary professional interests are in the areas of attachment theory, research and practice as well as relational psychotherapy, mentalization, mood disorders and addictive behaviors.
